Why Hire Copywriters? If Ai can write copy
I started my copywriting journey in November 2023 and 2 months later the wave of AI started hitting the market.
Everyone freaked out like a group of scared rabbits when they spotted a sly fox.
It’s not just copywriters if you look at the Google trends and YouTube searches. you’ll see The search about will Ai replace ____ Jobs!
I’ll tell you what! only 80% of the population panicked but the other 20% didn’t even bother seeing AI as a threat. Why? For 3 Reasons…
It’s a tool nothing more nothing less.
You get to play with a new tool.
They’re so good at what they do that they have immunity against any changes in the market.
So Is copywriter Doom because of AI?
The short answer is no.
The long answer is Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo0000oooo.
But there is a catch, yes we are copywriters, we write for a living. that’s just one part of the equation. but guess what! A business owners need someone who is more than a copywriter.
someone who has well-rounded marketing knowledge.
Someone who knows how to recognize gaps in the market.
Someone who can Fill in the hole in business and bring the big bucks.
Someone who can connect the dots that they’re missing.
Writing is just the task you do. Ai can write copy, You know what! Even my 10-year-old cousin can write. but guess what? He doesn’t know who he’s writing to. He doesn’t get the context. He doesn’t know How to entice the emotions of the audience and inspire them to take action.
Let's say a 7 figure business owner gets his hands on AI tools not just any AI but the very best in the world. so what's he gonna do with it?
If he’s so damn good at writing the copy and understanding of the market He should be able to write copy that produces results?
In the first place… what were they doing even before the AI?
Was it really about the copy? Not at all. It was the thinking and marketing strategy behind the copy.
A business owner or entrepreneur goes to a copywriter because he doesn’t know how to bring in the traffic, and how to turn hot leads to warm.
Smart people who run businesses know well that they’re not competent enough in marketing. and they don’t want to be competent. Why would they? when He can find someone out there who spends 2/3 or a decade mastering the art and science of persuasion to the point where He understands How and why!
and He can do the Job 100x Better than him.
They also know a copywriter isn't an expense. a copywriter is someone who brings more cash to the business. AKA a money printing machine.
A machine that can think and give them the solution they want.
It's unlikely a business owner will have a conversion with AI and produce a strategic business plan and marketable copy.
There’s just too much creativity, skill, personality and human talent required to do it and do it well.
It's like you have pain in the chest and asking chatgpt why am I having pain in my heart. tell me 5 ways to fix my heart.
See? How ridiculous it sound?
Ai isn’t gonna give you the magical revenue boost in your business.
Using Ai is like using templates. and you cannot take your business to the next level by Containing yourself in templates. you’ll be crushed In no time.

You can have business knowledge, but if you run a business in saving observances to rules, you’ll fail. Just like the Prussians failed to Defeat Napoleon.
